How long is the Post-Graduate Work Permit?
PGWP duration depends on your program length: 8 months program = 8 months PGWP, 2-year program = 3 years PGWP. Minimum 8 months program required.
Can I bring my spouse to Canada?
Yes! If you're studying a Master's or PhD, your spouse can get an Open Work Permit allowing them to work anywhere in Canada.
How can I get PR after graduation?
After working 1 year with PGWP, you can apply for PR through Express Entry (CEC) or Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP).
Is college (diploma) better than university (degree)?
Both have pros. Colleges offer practical co-op programs and lower fees. Universities are better for research-focused careers. Both offer PGWP.
